Pretty Good Solitaire Mac Edition on Big Sur - Goodsol.com/mac
Apple has finally taken macOS up to 11 with the release of the new version 11.0 Big Sur update. Unlike the troublesome Catalina update, Big Sur does not seem to be causing our games any problems.
Pretty Good Solitaire Mac Edition is currently at version 3.56 with 750 games. It works on the new Big Sur as well as older versions of macOS for those of you who do not want to update macOS yet (like myself). If you have the full version installed, just go to the Internet menu, select Download Latest Version to update the game. There will be a version with new games in 2021.
Our other Mac games, Pretty Good MahJongg, Goodsol Solitaire 101, Most Popular Solitaire, and FreeCell Plus also work on Big Sur and older macOS versions - see these games at Goodsol.com/macgames.html.
Pretty Good Solitaire for Windows recently updated to version 20.1 with 1040 games and Daily Quests - our 25th year! This version has 10 new games including Challenge Klondike.

Pretty Good Solitaire for iPad is currently at version 1.5 with 700 games. Note: if you have updated your iPad to iOS 14.2 and any of our iPad games are crashing, just delete the app and download it again from the AppStore purchased apps section and it will work fine again.
Pretty Good Solitaire for iPhone is currently at version 1.0 with 720 games. Still only 99 cents.
Our companion game to Pretty Good Solitaire is Pretty Good MahJongg, solitaire with MahJongg tiles. Pretty Good MahJongg for Windows and Mac are currently have 410 games and layouts. Pretty Good MahJongg for Mac works in macOS 11.0 Big Sur.

Featured Game - Challenge Klondike
Challenge Klondike is a new game in version 20.1 of Pretty Good Solitaire for Windows. It takes the classic Windows solitaire game Klondike and makes it harder.
Challenge Klondike plays exactly like the regular Klondike - you have the standard seven piles with the top card face up, you build down by alternate color, move groups of cards in sequence down by alternate color, and build the four foundation piles up in suit from Ace to King to win the game.
Challenge Klondike has no KingOnly option - only Kings (or a group of cards headed by a King) can be played to an empty tableau pile. It does have the 1 card/3 card option in the Options menu - you can play with either a one card or a three card deal.
What makes Challenge Klondike more difficult than regular Klondike is that all of the Aces and all of the Twos are dealt at the start of the game face down to the bottom of the rightmost piles - you must uncover those cards before you can play any cards at all to the foundations. That means that if you are unable to get at the cards at the bottom of those piles, you will not get anywhere at all in the game, let alone win.
Challenge Klondike is one of the 1040 games in Pretty Good Solitaire (for Windows).
